1. Back to Black,” - Amy Winehouse: One of my favorite Amy Winehouse songs, from her amazing second album of the same name. This song features great instrumentation, whether it be the glitzy piano, haunting echoing guitars, or the bells that sound like they’re from a clock tower. It’s an incredibly catchy soul track, and Amy’s voice sounds absolutely amazing. It’s about a boyfriend of hers at the time leaving her for an ex-girlfriend, and the going “back to black,” means going back to drinking and feeling depressed. It’s a very heartbreaking track, as Amy died in 2011 from alcohol poisoning and struggled with mental health issues and various addictions throughout much of her career.

2. “Alles Wie Gehabt,” - BILL BAUS featuring T-Blade and JAHWE296: I have no clue what the lyrics of this song mean, as most of the song is sung in German. But I love the euro dance club vibe of this track, as those synth loops are very infectious.

3. “Tailor Swif,” - A$AP Rocky: Another single from A$AP Rocky’s upcoming fourth album, Don’t Be Dumb. It’s not as strong as “Highjack,” or “D.M.B,” in my opinion, but it’s still a strong track, and it has me very excited for the new album.

4. “Amber,” - 311: A reggae rock classic, I haven’t really listened to much 311, but this track is strong and very relaxing. It reminds me a lot of Sublime’s sound, which is how I came across this song.

5. “My Own Worst Enemy,” - Lit: A song from a pop punk album that turned 25 years back in February of this year, I might review the album this song is from, as I really like this track. Like many contemporary rock songs, I discovered it through Rockband 2. I really like the guitar riffs, and chorus of this track.
