“Take Me First,” - Bad Omens: As a fan of metal, I have no idea how I missed out on this album. They remind me a lot of Bring Me The Horizon, and I like the mix of gentle and distorted guitar riffs, and lead singer Noah Sebastian has an incredibly powerful voice.

“Deep Cut,” - Towa Bird: The album this great indie rock track is on, American Hero, is something that I seriously need to review in the future. The guitar solo on this track is fantastic, and the chorus is so incredibly catchy.

“Fast Lane,” - Bad Meets Evil: I grew up vibing to this song in middle school, and it holds a lot of nostalgia for me. Eminem and Royce Da 5’9 exchange rapid fire rhymes with clever humor and double-entendres. The beat is memorable, with that baritone vocal loop, and the hard hitting drums. It’s pretty minimalist, which allows the two Detroit legends to shine.

“Me Gustas Tu,” - Manu Chao: This song is the perfect example of language barriers not managing in music, as this Spanish-spoken track is infectious, and relaxing.

“Miles Apart,” - Yellowcard: A wonderful song that’s over 20 years old from Jacksonville, Florida pop-punk/alternative rock band, Yellowcard. It’s got romantic lyrics as the topic of the song, is about a long distance relationship. It’s very relatable and heartwarming.
