“L’Via L’Viaquez,” - The Mars Volta: One of the longest songs I’ve ever listened to, at 12 minutes and 22 seconds, this track is easily my favorite Mars Volta track. The majority of the song is sung in Spanish, but it doesn’t take away from my enjoyment of the song. The guitar riffs are so iconic.

“Surf Rider,” - The Lively Ones: I first heard this surf rock classic when I watched the legendary film, Pulp Fiction. I love the reverb soaked guitars, and dramatic horns. The saxophone solo is a nice touch as well.

“Heartbeat (Speed),” - Ren: I love the melancholy sound of this dance pop track, the sharp synth bass and sad piano chords paired with the heartbroken rapid-fire lyrics of the song.

“On Broadway,” - The Drifters: A song I discovered through my mom, this 60s R&B tune is so memorable for me, as it’s soulful and has a super nostalgic quality for me.

“Angel nuevo,” - Mabe Fratti: One of the most relaxing songs I’ve heard this week. The airy synths, and acoustic bass serves as a calming backdrop to Mabe’s singing.
