“Drunk in Love (Remix),” - Beyoncé featuring JAY Z and Kanye West: As if the original raunchy song wasn’t dirty enough, Kanye completely raises the bar with his verse. I love the remixed beat from Kanye and Mike Dean, and it’s cool to hear Beyoncé on the bass-heavy trap production. Also that “Flashing Lights,” incorporation on Kanye’s part is totally something he did, because of course he’d reference two songs of his on a remix. I love the original version of this track, but the remix might be even better.

“Devil,” - Slayyyter: One of my new favorite artists, Slayyyter has a unique sound that feels like a cross between Charli Xcx and Britney Spears. You can especially hear the Britney influence on this tracks. I love the growly synthesizers incorporated on this track, and the catchiness of the track overall.

“Devil Eyes,” - ZODIVK: I love how dark and gnarly this song sounds with the looming synth bass and fuzzy synth lead. Like most phonk tracks it features a chopped up rap sample, and the sample flows perfectly over the production.

“Smack That,” - Akon featuring Eminem: A super catchy club banger, with strong performances from both Akon and Eminem. Eminem actually produced the beat and did a really great job. I think Eminem’s production skills don’t get talked about enough, as he’s actually a very skilled beat-maker. It’s just overshadowed by his amazing rapping ability. While this isn’t Eminem’s best guest verse, it’s easily one of the best verses he recorded when he was battling a serious drug addiction.

“TORE UP,” - Don Toliver: One of my favorite songs off of Don’s most recent album, Hardstone Psycho. I love the rage-inspired production, and heavy usage of guitars on this song, and Don’s vocal presence really shines over the instrumentation.
